What are glass curtains?
A glass curtain is a terrace enclosure made of individual glass panels. They run in an aluminium track at the top and another at the bottom, with no vertical profile between one panel and the next. When closed, you see almost nothing but glass.
To open it, the panels slide to one end and fold back side by side.

Terraces and balconies
The most common use. Close the terrace when the wind picks up or the evenings turn cool, and open it again when the weather is good. It is almost all glass, so you keep the view.

A covered porch gets far more use if you can close it when the wind blows. With glass curtains it stays an open porch in summer and becomes an extra room in winter.

Glass curtains or an aluminium terrace enclosure?
Glass curtains are not the only way to enclose a terrace. We also build terrace enclosures with aluminium or uPVC sliding windows. Can glass curtains be fitted to any terrace?
The top track is usually fixed to a ceiling or slab above. Every terrace is different: we check it when we measure and tell you whether it can be done.
Do I need permission to enclose my terrace?
It depends on your town hall and, in an apartment, on your community of owners (comunidad de propietarios). We recommend checking before you order.
How much do glass curtains cost?
It depends on the size, the shape of the terrace and the number of panels. We measure at your property and give you the price in your quote.
How do you clean them?
On installation day we show you how to open, close and clean it.
